July 2, 2010 - As of January, Steve Earle -- the self proclaimed "Hardcore Troubadour" -- has won 3 Grammy Awards. This year the honor was for his latest album, "Townes," a 15-song set comprised of songs written by his friend and mentor, the late Townes Van Zandt.

December 12, 2008 - Los Angeles radio station Indie 103.1 launched its take on the holiday concert with the first "Wreck the Halls" show at the new Club Nokia on Wednesday (12/10) night. Performing to a nearly sold out crowd, the lineup included The Pretenders, Bloc Party, Black Kids and CSS, aka Cansei de Ser Sexy.
October 7, 2008 - It's official, The Pretenders are really back, performing in fine form last night (10/6) on "The Late Show with David Letterman." The band's first album since 2002, dubbed "Break Up the Concrete," hits stores today (10/7).
December 15, 2005 - Neil Young, K.D. Lang, Sam Moore, The Pretenders, Judy Collins, Kris Kristofferson and Billy Bragg will all appear at next year's SXSW music festival in Austin, TX, along with additional acts organizers unveiled Thursday (12/15).
