April 27, 2000 - The itinerary for Pearl Jam's summer tour--including nearly all venues and ticket on-sale dates--has surfaced on Rumor Pit, the band's Sony Music-sanctioned online newsletter. The band's first full-scale tour since 1998 will visit more than 30 markets. Most shows will take place at amphitheaters. April 25, 2000 - Sonic Youth will occupy the opening slot on first leg of Pearl Jam's upcoming North American tour, which opens on Aug. 3 in Virginia Beach and runs through Sept. 5. Supergrass will open the tour's month-long second leg, which opens on Oct. 4 in Montreal.
