November 5, 2009 - Original Sublime members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson--and new singer Rome Ramirez--were ordered by a California judge to stop performing as Sublime until a civil suit filed on behalf of the band's late lead singer, Bradley Nowell, goes to trial, according to the Los Angeles Times.
September 1, 2009 - Following a six year hiatus, Cypress Hill's music and marijuana-culture festival, Smokeout, is making a big return with a newly reformed Sublime as its very special guests, according to the event website.
February 12, 2003 - Ska-punkers Slightly Stoopid precede the release of their first nationally-distributed album by embarking on a West Coast tour with Damian "Junior Gong" Marley, and head out on their own after the album hits stores in March.
January 29, 2002 - Nirvana's Kurt Cobain idolized the Meat Puppets, so it should come as no surprise that former Nirvana bassist, Krist Novoselic, has joined forces with the Puppets' Curt Kirkwood to form a band. The outfit, dubbed Eyes Adrift, also includes former Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh.
