February 16, 2007 - Singer Ian Astbury has announced his departure from Riders on the Storm, the band he helped form with former Doors members Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger.
October 17, 2006 - Legendary rock group The Doors will be feted Nov. 8 on West Hollywood, CA's Sunset Strip, the kickoff for a planned yearlong celebration marking the 40th anniversary of the group's founding.
August 18, 2005 - The Doors of the 21st Century are no more. Keyboardist Ray Manzarek announced that the band, which includes two surviving members of The Doors, would now be known as Riders on the Storm.
