July 15, 2009 - Fronted by lefty guitarist Tim Armstrong, Nor-Cal ska/punk veterans Rancid are credited with reviving interest in the genre during the mid-'90s. The lineup still maintains three of the four members who formed the group in 1991. In 1993, they invited a friend by the name of Billie Joe Armstrong, who co-wrote their single "Radio," to join Rancid, but he chose to stick with his group Green Day.
May 7, 2009 - Rancid is releasing a series of webisodes that feature behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the new album "Let The Dominoes Fall," according to a press release. New webisodes--nearly two dozen installments in total--will premiere every weekday on the Hellcat/Epitaph Records website leading up to the album's June 2 release.
