Singer/songwriter and pianist Fiona Apple will embark on a North American excursion this summer in support of her first studio set in seven years, "The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw And Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do."
The 26th installment of the South By Southwest Music Conference and Festival kicked off on Wednesday (3/14) in downtown Austin, where 17,000+ attendees are expected to show up through Sunday (3/18). 
With just a couple weeks before the March 9 launch, more established acts have been added to South by Southwest Music Conference, including Nas, Skrillex and Fiona Apple. 
Piano-playing singer/songwriter Regina Spektor just came out with her first live concert film and album, "Live in London" (Sire Records), and will appear on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Tuesday (11/23).
