May 7, 2012 - After three weekends of festivals in the Southern California desert -- two Coachellas and Stagecoach -- Los Lobos and their friends treated Los Angelenos to a Cinco de Mayo fiesta Saturday night (5/5) at the Greek Theatre that didn't require local music fans to leave the city limits.
December 22, 2011 - After a Big Apple New Year's Eve concert, Los Lobos will take on a round of U.S. dates throughout the eastern part of the nation in continued support of last year's "Tin Can Trust."
December 2, 2010 - Simply put, the major Grammy nominations are all about the kids this year. No legends received nominations in the general categories, so album, record and song will not be used as "lifetime achievement" awards to honor an overlooked musician. Still, many music vets did get their acknowledgment in several other categories.
August 20, 2010 - Were Johnny Carson still alive and the king of late-night, he would be making countless weather jokes this summer on the "Tonight Show." It's not just chilly, it's long sleeves, don't-forget-a-jacket, turn on the heater cold. Come to Los Angeles this summer and see how it feels to be in San Francisco. Every outdoor show finds people bundled up, sandals giving way to scarves and a hot cup of coffee sounding more desirable than a cold beer.
August 3, 2010 - By playing to their strengths and delivering their material in a straightforward fashion, Los Lobos has made a solid return to flexing its muscles on "Tin Can Trust," their first album of new material in four years.
June 8, 2010 - Los Lobos' summer tour will find the East L.A. band sharing the stage with John Hiatt on nine dates and the Steve Miller Band on two. Half of the 31 shows booked for the tour will occur after the Aug. 3 release of their latest album, "Tin Can Trust," a return to the straightforward, rootsy sound of their earliest albums.
