The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards and Eric Clapton were among a flock of rock and blues superstars who turned up in New York City last Friday (2/24) to pay tribute to late bluesman Hubert Sumlin.
Blues guitarist Hubert Sumlin, who appeared on many of Howlin' Wolf's most well-known songs, was remembered today in a public memorial service paid for by The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
Big Head Todd & the Monsters, David "Honeyboy" Edwards, Hubert Sumlin and Cedric Burnside & Lightnin' Malcolm will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Robert Johnson's birth with a "Blues at the Crossroads" tour.
