Concert Review: ACL Festival in Austin, Day 1

The opening day of the 10th annual Austin City Limits Festival went off without a hitch, pulling in a sold-out crowd of 65,000 as well as a few minutes of much needed rain. The first day of the three-day weekend brought relief via mostly overcast skies, as well as some notable names, including Cold War Kids, Bright Eyes, Santigold, Sara Bareilles, Mavis Staples, Big Boi and Ray LaMontagne, among others. The evening's headliners -- Coldplay and Kanye West -- got the most buzz throughout the day, as many felt torn between Day 1's two closing choices.
