Bridge School Benefit
Grunge mainstays Pearl Jam are coming up on the 20th anniversary of their first gig, but don't look for them to mark the occasion with a lot of fanfare. Every year, the Bridge School Benefit Concert seems to attract bigger and brighter talent. This year, the event's 23rd installment, was a prime example. Neil Young has added several new New York City shows to his calendar as the rock veteran prepares to head out on the road in support of his forthcoming album, "Chrome Dreams II." Fans who purchase tickets to Neil Young's upcoming concert trek will be receiving a little something extra: a copy of Young's new studio album. Neil Young has revealed plans for a North American tour to back the release of his forthcoming album, "Chrome Dreams II." "The Bridge Collection"--a six-volume set compiling 20 years of performances during Neil and Pegi Young's benefit concerts supporting The Bridge School--is being made available as an iTunes-only donwload. Some will remember the Bridge School Benefit concert on Saturday (10/29) as a killer show. Everybody in attendance, however, will remember it as "The Killer's show."
