February 2, 2011 - The 2011 edition of the Rock on the Range festival, set for May 21 and 22 at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH, will be headed up by A Perfect Circle, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Korn, Stone Sour and Staind.
January 24, 2011 - Last July, after the new album "Nightmare" by hard rockers Avenged Sevenfold debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the band released a statement saying in part, "Today we raise our glasses to Jimmy who is smiling down on us all for sending him off with the No. 1 album in America [and to] the blood sweat and many tears it took us and our fans to get to this moment."

June 17, 2010 - Avenged Sevenfold drummer James "The Rev" Sullivan, who was found dead Dec. 28 in his Southern California home, died of an accidental overdose, according to the Orange County Coroner's office.
Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, A Perfect Circle and Hollywood Undead are among the acts that will perform at the 2011 Rock on the Range festival.
