Under clear skies, the crowd tally reached an estimated 75,000 on Day 2 of Lollapalooza on Saturday (8/8). However, according to the Chicago Tribune, the event appeared oversold at one point in the late afternoon, when a majority of fans swarmed the North end of Grant Park for back-to-back performances of Arctic Monkeys, Santigold, and TV on The Radio.
