Nominations out for MTV Video Music Awards

Fatboy Slim's video "Weapon of Choice," starring actor Christopher Walken, received nine nominations for the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, topping the list of nominees. The ceremony will take place on Sept. 6 at New York's Lincoln Center.

U.K.'s Creamfields festival comes to U.S.

Organizers of the U.K's Creamfields dance festival plan to put on two U.S. events this year, each featuring Fatboy Slim, Crystal Method, Josh Wink, Orbital and Stereo MC's, among others. The events will take place in Riverhead, N.Y., on Sept. 1 and in Las Vegas on Sept. 29.

Fatboy Slim charts short club tour

On the heels of the release of his latest video, "Weapon of Choice," which can be found on his latest CD single, Fatboy Slim has announced a five-date tour that includes a stop at the Coachella festival in Indio, Calif.
