Rapper Mystikal sentenced to six years in prison

GRAMMY-nominated rapper Mystikal--whose real name is Michael Tyler--is headed to prison for six years in connection with a 2002 incident during which he forced a female employee to perform sex acts on him and two bodyguards.

Charts: Ja Rule tops album chart with 'Rule 3:36'

Ja Rule’s “Rule 3:36” (Murder Inc./Def Jam) burst onto the album chart at No. 1 in its debut week, according to the rapper’s record label. Despite new releases from the Wallflowers, Orgy and Collective Soul, “Rule 3:36” is the only album to debut in the Top 10 this week.

Charts: Mystikal’s “Let’s Get Ready” debuts at No. 1

“Let’s Get Ready” (Jive), the debut album from Mystikal, snags the top spot on the album chart this week from last week’s leader, Madonna’s “Music” (Warner Bros.), according to industry sources. Also scoring high marks this week are 98 Degrees' “Revelation” (Universal)--which debuts at No. 2--and Top 10 debuts from Shyne and Lil’ Bow Wow.
