Max Weinberg, longtime drummer for Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band and the musical director of Conan O'Brien's late-night shows for the past 17 years, says family and recent open-heart surgery influenced his decision not to join O'Brien on his new TBS late-night show, "Conan."
Guitarist Jimmy Vivino will be the bandleader on Conan O'Brien's new TBS talk show, with James Wormworth taking over for Max Weinberg behind the drum kit.
E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg will take his 15-piece Max Weinberg Big Band on the road in October, and is so far confirmed to play 20 dates before wrapping up Nov. 6.
