July 6, 2009 - The Taste of Chicago Festival has come a long way since it started in 1980. Originally held within a three-block radius boarded by Michigan Avenue and the Chicago River, it was moved to Grant Park in 1981 due to the large turnout. Now it reportedly attracts millions of visitors annually from the region and well beyond.
June 3, 2008 - The 29th annual Long Beach Blues Festival, scheduled Aug. 30-31, will be held this year in a new location, the Rainbow Lagoon at Linden Ave. and Shoreline Dr. adjacent to the Long Beach Marina, according to a press release.
