June 16, 2009 - Violent Femmes founder Gordon Gano and ex-members of The Bogmen Brendan and Billy Ryan have collaborated on a new album titled "Under the Sun," according to a press release. The new band, working as Gordon Gano & The Ryans, will make their recording debut Sept. 15.
June 11, 2008 - The Violent Femmes are turning the tables on Gnarls Barkley, releasing a cover of that duo's signature track, "Crazy" on June 24; Gnarls covered the Violent Femmes' classic cut "Gone Daddy Gone" on their first album, "St. Elsewhere."
