Charlie Daniels' Volunteer Jam nabs Dickey Betts, .38 Special

The 2001 edition of the Charlie Daniels Band's Volunteer Jam will feature the package tour’s namesake, the Dickey Betts Band and .38 Special, according to tour sources. The month-long, 15-city expedition is scheduled to open in May.

Volunteer Jam's Players To Include Charlie Daniels Band, Hank Jr.

The Charlie Daniels Band's Volunteer Jam--which was born in Nashville in 1974 and became a traveling show last year--will return to the road in May. Hank Williams Jr. will share the bill with Daniels for all but one show on the tour.
