February 2, 2000 - Elton John, who has been named MusiCares Person of the Year, will be honored by bevy of stars at a Los Angeles dinner and silent auction on Feb. 21, two days before he is scheduled to receive a Grammy Legend Award. Phil Collins, Sting, Lulu, Melissa Etheridge, Mary J. Blige, Diana Krall, Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, Gloria Estefan, Moby, Natalie Cole, Sheryl Crow, and Tony Bennett are among the artists expected to attend the black tie, invitation-only event in Los Angeles.
