Dope plots tour dates as album release nears

Alt-metal outfit Dope will pound the pavement through the end of the year to back its third album, "Group Therapy."

Staind, P.O.D. Top New MTV Club Tour

Staind and P.O.D. will co-headline the first MTV Return of the Rock Tour, named for the weekday block of rock music programming that airs on the cable network. Dope and Crazy Town will fill out the bill for the 12-date club tour, which runs June 14-29.

Sevendust Returns From Europe For North American Club Tour

Hard-touring industrial rockers Sevendust, who have logged more than 300 shows in the last couple of years, have announced a series of club dates leading up to their slot on the upcoming mini-tour with Metallica. The band is currently touring in Europe behind their sophomore album, "Home" (TVT), which was released in August.
