February 9, 2001 - LONDON--The Big Beat Boutique Family Weekender, scheduled to take place at the Camber Sands Holiday Centre in East Sussex from March 16-18, has been canceled following "problems between the venue and the concert promoters," according to a statement issued by the Big Boutique. The lineup included Fatboy Slim, David Holmes and Basement Jaxx.
January 23, 2001 - LONDON--Because lead singer Andrea Corr developed a serious ear infection, Irish folk-pop group the Corrs have rescheduled the U.K. leg of their "In Blue" world tour.
October 17, 2000 - LONDON-- The Corrs have announced a 29-date European tour to support the release of their latest album "In Blue." The major outing will begin in Hamburg, Germany, on Oct. 31. The U.K. leg of the tour begins at London's Wembley Arena, for three nights, on Dec. 20.
July 31, 2000 - LONDON-- The Corrs stayed at the top of the Official U.K. Album Chart for a second week in a row with their latest release "In Blue." The foursome's third studio album was also certified platinum after just two weeks in shops, selling over 300,000 copies in Britain.

Eminem’s platinum "The Marshall Mathers LP" stayed put for another week at No. 2. David Gray’s "White Ladder" fell from No. 3 to No. 4 while Moby’s triple-platinum "Play" dropped from No. 4 to No. 5.
July 10, 2000 - LONDON-- Eminem has climbed back to the No. 1 spot on the Official U.K. Album Chart as "The Marshall Mathers LP," which has sold over 300,000 copies in seven weeks, knocked Richard Ashcroft's album "Alone with Everybody" down to No. 4 on Sunday (7/9). Meanwhile, Welsh singer-songwriter David Gray's album "White Ladder" rose two places from No. 4 to No. 2 and Moby's "Play" stayed put at No. 3.
October 11, 1999 - The UK's NetAid benefit concert, held at London's Wembley Stadium last Saturday (10/9), was virtually a Live Aid for the Nineties, as artists who played at the Bob Geldof-organized show in 1985--such as David Bowie, George Michael and Bryan Adams--also topped this year's bill. Attendees of the massive concert, which aimed to raise funds for people in Kosovo and The Sudan, were also likely to have been fervent Live Aid supporters, as most appeared to be middle-aged, upper middle-class ex-Yuppies.
