December 5, 2000 - Styx and REO Speedwagon postponed the final five dates of a November-December tour after REO Speedwagon frontman Kevin Cronin came down with a case of laryngitis. Three of the five co-headlining shows have been rescheduled, and are now set to take place during a newly announced, month-long stint of dates that will get underway in mid-January.
October 2, 2000 - Styx will link with R.E.O. Speedwagon for a month-long U.S. arena tour in November, reviving a pairing that exceeded box office expectations this spring. Survivor, best known for contributing "Eye of the Tiger" to the "Rocky III" movie soundtrack, will open on all dates.
March 30, 2000 - R.E.O. Speedwagon and Styx, both of whom emerged from Chicago battle-of-the-bands competitions in the early 1970s to become two of the top-selling rock acts of the late 1970s and early '80s, will team for a two-month amphitheater tour that gets underway in early May.
