April 18, 2008 - 1990s hit-makers Sponge and Marcy Playground will be the featured entertainers on Carnival Cruise's "Fascination," a four-night cruise to the Bahamas Oct. 23-27.
December 16, 1999 - With its three band members suffering ailments ranging from a fever to pneumonia, Marcy Playground's tour of the holiday radio festival circuit has been sidelined since Monday (12/13). The latest cities to be pulled from the band's itinerary are Charlotte and Atlantic Beach, N.C.
September 27, 1999 - The follow-up to Marcy Playground's self-titled 1997 album is set to hit the stores on Nov. 2, and the band will embark on a club tour on the same day. In the meantime, the alternative rockers have lined up some radio station festival shows.
