Ohio indie-pop outfit Guided by Voices will play a round of festival appearances and club shows through late summer behind the forthcoming "Class Clown Spots a UFO."
It's basically a race now, by Robert Pollard, to see if he can live long enough to outpace his ambition, which never sleeps or even takes cigarette breaks.
Guided By Voices, Descendents, Broken Social Scene and Cold War Kids are among the acts that will be performing at this year's revamped FYF Fest Sept. 3 in downtown Los Angeles.
Recently reunited indie-rock purveyors Guided By Voices have pieced together a summer route that includes stops at several festivals, including the Northside Festival in Brooklyn, Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago and the Hopscotch Music Festival in Raleigh, NC.
