So notorious is the crew that legend has it an FBI informant was once planted in the circle of group members RZA, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, GZA, Masta Killa, U-God, Inspectah Deck, and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard. In contrast, the name "Wu-Tang" was inspired by the enlightend spirituality of the Taoist culture--specifically the Hubei Province in China, home of the Wu Dang Mountain.
October 18, 2007 - After announcing earlier this month plans to mount a fall/winter reunion tour, hip-hop icons the Wu-Tang Clan have canceled the outing until next year.
