January 4, 2010 - A child-abuse prevention organization says Pete Townshend should not be allowed perform with The Who at the Super Bowl halftime show because of his 2003 child-pornography arrest, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
November 18, 2009 - The Who are set to perform during the halftime show at Super Bowl XLIV, according to a Rolling Stone report. Unnamed sources told RS the band inked the deal a long time ago and that an official announcement from the National Football League is expected on Thanksgiving Day.
