Performers, presenters for Latin Grammys announced

Cafe Tacuba, Kany Garcia and Julieta Venegas are among the first performers announced for the 9th Annual Latin Grammy Awards telecast, according to a press release. Alejandra Guzman, Gilberto Santa Rosa and Olga Tanon also will perform during the awards show, which will take place Nov. 13 at the Toyota Center in Houston.

Watcha Tour Gears Up For Round Two

The second run of the rock en espańol package tour Watcha is scheduled to open on Friday (8/11) in the Los Angeles area. This year’s line-up--which varies from city to city--includes Mexican rock band Café Tacuba, Columbian rock/trip-hop act Aterciopelados, A.N.I.M.A.L., Los Enanitos Verdes, Molotov and Los Angeles-based Ozomatli.

Watcha Bill To Feature Café Tacuba, Molotov, Ozomotli

Cafe Tacuba, Molotov and Ozomotli will be among the bands to join this year's edition of Watcha, a Latin rock event that first took to the road in 1999. The 18-city tour is tentatively scheduled to open on Aug. 11 near Los Angeles and to run through Labor Day weekend.
