Bob Seger, Kid Rock, The Pixies lead Orlando Calling festival lineup

Festival Republic, a U.K.-based promotion company with a long history of producing successful European rock festivals including those in Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, has tapped The Killers, Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band, The Raconteurs, Kid Rock and The Pixies for their first U.S. festival, dubbed Orlando Calling The Killers, Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band, The Raconteurs, Kid Rock and The Pixies lead the new Orlando Calling festival.

The Killers honored at ASCAP Pop Music Awards

The Killers will receive ASCAP's Vanguard Award at the 27th annual Pop Music Awards April 21 at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers award recognizes the impact of musical genres that help shape the future of American music, according to a press release.
