Jerry Cantrell, Scott Ian partner in new Las Vegas venue

Alice in Chains guitarist/vocalist Jerry Cantrell and Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian have announced plans to launch a new rock bar and performance space in Las Vegas. Dubbed Dead Man's Hand, the establishment is scheduled to open next month.

Jerry Cantrell honors Wayne Kramer, readies new Alice In Chains album

Jerry Cantrell will perform at a fundraiser for Wayne Kramer this Friday (5/1) at New York City's Nokia Theater in Times Square, according to a press release. The Alice In Chains' co-vocalist/guitarist will honor the MC5 punk-rock pioneer and activist along with several special guests including Iggy Pop, Tom Morello and Perry Farrell. All of the money raised at the benefit concert will go directly to support the treatment of children and young adults who suffer from adversities such as addiction, physical and sexual abuse and chronic illness.
