May 3, 2011 - The Stagecoach Music Festival 2011 took place over the weekend (4/30 - 5/1). The two-day event is fast becoming known as a "Country Coachella," in part because it takes place in the exact same location, Empire Polo Fields in Indio, CA.

October 10, 2008 - The eighth edition of the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival--investment banker Warren Hellman's baby--took place last week. The free show, which Hellman has spent millions to produce over the years, filled Golden Gate Park's Speedway Meadow with music-lovers of all ages. Sunshine and clear skies were icing on the cake.
April 16, 2004 - Alison Krauss and Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas hit the road this spring with several other artists featured on the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and "Cold Mountain" soundtracks.
