B.B. King has no plans of slowing down this summer, as the prolific bluesman has tacked more summer and fall shows on to his 2011 itinerary.
Legendary guitarist and iconic bluesman B.B. King has performed more than 15,000 concerts during his 50-plus year career as a touring artist, yet the 85 year old still manages to outdo most touring musicians less than half his age, consistently hitting up well over 100 cities every year.
The year 2010 was only about seven months long for SoundSpike -- we officially launched in June. Nonetheless, the photo team wasted no time getting highlights of the summer festival circuit (including Coachella and Lollapalooza) the hottest A-List names ( Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift), reunion and farewell tours ( Pavement, Brooks & Dunn), legendary artists ( Paul McCartney, B.B. King), as well as plenty of rising stars (Ke$ha, Adam Lambert).
B.B. King has tacked more dates onto his fall and winter excursion of North America, which now pushes further into the New Year.
B.B. King is on the road again, performing at casinos, theaters and festivals across the continent through early next year.
