May 29, 2009 - Koko Taylor recently underwent surgery in Chicago to correct gastrointestinal bleeding, according to a press release. The May 19 operation at Northwestern Memorial Hospital was successful and doctors anticipate a full recovery for the 80-year-old "Queen of the Blues."
