Ex-Replacement Tommy Stinson talks up solo album ahead of Guns N' Roses dates

Tommy Stinson is a true rock 'n' roll survivor. At the age of 13, he joined the Replacements, growing up and throwing up on the road in vans and nightclubs and theaters across America until their split in 1991. Since 1998, he's been one of the few consistent presences in the reconstituted Guns N' Roses, having survived the tortuous experience known as 'Chinese Democracy.' In 2005, he joined Soul Asylum, replacing the late Karl Mueller. Tommy Stinson is a true rock 'n' roll survivor.
