The Noise Pop Festival, San Francisco's indie music, arts and film festival is now in its 19th year. The event traditionally takes place over a week in February, showcasing emerging artists in venues all around the Bay Area.
The Sunday schedule at this weekend's Lollapalooza is one of those rare lineups devoid of gaps -- from 11:30 a.m. when Health takes the stage until Arcade Fire closes at 10 p.m., it's a cavalcade of worthy artists.
Wavves will start a 32-show tour in New York City on Aug. 2, the day before the release of the band's third album, "King of the Beach," on Fat Possum.
