For a band with a catalog of songs born of a sad place, The Script sure is enthusiastic and giddy live. The Irish trio's performance belies tunes such as "The Man Who Can't Be Moved," "Nothing" and "Breakeven."
With their current U.S. leg wrapping up this week, Irish rockers The Script have rolled out another stateside trek slated for fall.
Irish pop band The Script will return to U.S. shores in April to rally support for its sophomore effort, "Science and Faith," which debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 album chart after a Jan. 18 release.
A week after indie-rock stalwarts Cake shocked the world by having a No. 1 album, in comes Portland, OR's the Decemberists atop the nation's album sales chart. "The King is Dead," the Decemberists' sixth album, sold a healthy 94,000 copies to take the pole position, according to figures compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.
The Script's latest single, the soaring "For the First Time", addresses the current economic recession, a subject members of the Irish pop band said they're more than qualified to write about.
