However, according to the Chicago Tribune, the event appeared oversold at one point in the late afternoon, when a majority of fans swarmed the North end of Grant Park for back-to-back performances of Arctic Monkeys, Santigold, and TV on The Radio.
April 1, 2009 - Glasgow rock band Glasvegas is quickly picking up fans worldwide, perhaps most importantly music mogul Alan McGee, who is credited with discovering Oasis. McGee has called Glasvegas the best Glasgow band he's seen in 20 years.
January 22, 2009 - Scottish alt-rockers Glasvegas have mapped a spring headlining jaunt behind their self-titled debut album, which surfaced earlier this month in the US.
Scottish four-piece Glasvegas has announced an 11-city North American tour run that kicks of May 23 at New York City's Bowery Ballroom.
