In Pictures: Lollapalooza (Day 1) in Chicago

The 2011 incarnation of Lollapalooza kicked off Friday (8/5), marking two decades since the world famous music festival was born, first as a touring festival in 1991 before making Chicago its permanent home in 2005. This year marks Lollapalooza's largest-ever crowd, with 90,000 fans a day hitting the city's beloved Grant Park. Photos from Lollapalooza 2011, which kicked off Friday (8/5), drawing the largest-ever crowd; 90,000 fans a day will be filling Chicago's Grant Park on their 20th anniversary.
