May 14, 2008 - Remy Ma was sentenced to eight years in prison yesterday (5/13) for shooting a woman outside a Manhattan nightclub last July. The Grammy-nominated rapper, whose real name is Remy Smith, had faced up to 25 years in prison for assault, weapon possession and attempted coercion.
