March 26, 2010 - This year's Newport Folk Festival will feature a mix of established and new artists, including Richie Havens, John Prine, Andrew Bird, and Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings. The 51st edition of the Rhode Island festival also will feature performances by Levon Helm's Ramble on the Road, Yim Yames (Jim James) of My Morning Jacket, Brandi Carlile, Doc Watson & David Hold, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Calexico, Blitzen Trapper, The Low Anthem and many others, according to a press release.
