February 10, 2009 - The Rothbury festival will return for a second installment 4th of July weekend at the Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, MI, according to a press release. Festival organizers once again hope to create a unique music event that is sustainable with a focus on community involvement.
July 14, 2008 - Two people died July 6 in unrelated incidents at the Rothbury Music Festival in Michigan, according to The Detroit Free Press. A 33-year-old New York woman and a 28-year-old man from Ohio suffered unidentified medical emergencies, hours apart. Both were taken to a nearby hospital, where they died.
February 29, 2008 - The Mickey Hart Band (featuring George Porter Jr. and Steve Kimock), The Wailers, Rodrigo Y Gabriela and Trampled by Turtles are the most recent acts to join the lineup of the Rothbury festival, according to a press release. Previously announced acts for the July 4th weekend concert at the Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, MI, include Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, John Mayer, 311, Snoop Dogg, Modest Mouse, and Michael Franti and Spearhead among many others.
