The Free Press Summer Fest took place in Houston on June 4 and 5, two of the hottest days of the year to date in the region. Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings stranded in Europe

Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings missed several scheduled appearances this week because they were stranded in Europe due to the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland. The band has shuttled from Amsterdam to Düsseldorf to London over the past few days in an attempt to make it back to the US for scheduled shows, according to a press release.
