October 5, 2010 - The 10th annual free concert Hardly Strictly Bluegrass hit San Francisco's Golden Gate Park over the weekend (10/1-10/3), and park officials estimated that approximately 900,000 fans turned out.
April 20, 2010 - Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings missed several scheduled appearances this week because they were stranded in Europe due to the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland. The band has shuttled from Amsterdam to Düsseldorf to London over the past few days in an attempt to make it back to the US for scheduled shows, according to a press release.
