The Hold Steady have added 18 dates to their North American tour, lining up a swing through the South and Northeast beginning Sept. 21 in Nashville, TN.

The Hold Steady achieved their highest chart ranking to date with the May release of their fifth studio album, "Heaven is Whenever," which debuted at No. 26 on The Billboard 200, reportedly selling 23,000 albums during its first week out.
