Jack White, Bon Iver, Beck, Pretty Lights and The Shins will helm the 11th edition of the Sasquatch! Music Festival, which will take over the Gorge Amphitheatre this Memorial Day weekend.
Canadian singer/songwriter Feist will spend the winter and early spring on an international tour supporting her recently released fourth album, "Metals."
Drawing heavily from her most recent work, "Metals," Leslie Feist and company delivered nearly two hours of heart and nuance to an enthralled crowd on Saturday (11/12). 
You'll remember Leslie Feist, of course, as the ingenue-type performer behind 2007's sweet, quirky "1234," which was selling at a very moderate pace before Apple Inc. (a small, California-based maker of personal electronics; perhaps you've heard of them) decided to graft her voice indelibly to the iPod Nano and launch her, rocket-like, to adulation and fame.
Feist will back her forthcoming album, "Metals," with a fall 2011 tour.
It has been an impressive year for music documentaries. Thom Zimny captured Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band working on "Darkness on the Edge of Town" in "The Promise"; Tom DiCillo, assisted by narrator Johnny Depp, broke on through with "When You're Strange: A Film About The Doors"; and Michele Hozer and Peter Raymont are on the Academy Awards documentary short list with "Genius Within: The Inner Life of Glenn Gould."
