Hot Hot Heat will preview its new album, "Future Breeds," during a May residency at Brooklyn's Public Assembly in New York. The band wanted to launch the album at the venue because of its intimate setting and its close ties to Brooklyn's thriving indie-music scene--a connection that the band feels is relevant to the forthcoming release, according to a press release.
