July 20, 2000 - Fred Durst's Interscope Records imprint Flawless, in a venture with garageband.com, is looking for new talent. People can go to garageband.com's website and vote for their favorite bands. The 11 winners will perform in cities where the "Back to Basics" tour, featuring Durst's band Limp Bizkit, is playing. Representatives from Flawless will attend the winners' performances.
July 7, 2000 - Twin sisters Heather and Jennifer Kinley launched their U.S. tour on Wednesday night (7/5) in Connecticut. The Kinleys are touring in support of “II,” which is scheduled for a July 18 release, and is the follow-up to their 1998 debut “Just Between You and Me.”
