September 3, 2003 - Universal Music Group, the world's largest music distributor, announced on Wednesday (9/3) that it has cut the suggested retail price on virtually all of its top-line CDs to $12.98. The suggested price of most of the company's discs previously ranged from $16.98 to $18.98.
