November 4, 2009 - Iggy Pop and the Stooges will return to the touring circuit next year, playing with guitarist James Williamson for the first time in nearly 30 years, according to a Rolling Stone report. Williamson took over lead-guitar duties for the group's 1973 release "Raw Power," so the tour is expected to focus on material from that era of the band.
August 3, 2007 - "The Pretender," the first single from the Foo Fighters' forthcoming studio album, "Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace," will premiere during tonight's (8/3) ESPN broadcast of the Summer X-Games, and will also be featured prominently throughout ESPN's coverage of the games, according to a press release.
Yoko Ono's upcoming Plastic Ono Band concert in Los Angeles will feature guest performers Lady Gaga, Iggy Pop, Perry Farrell, and Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon, among others.
