As its title would suggest, "Group Sounds," Rocket From the Crypt's ninth full-length album, was a group effort. Recording at studios in Memphis, Los Angeles and the band's hometown of San Diego, Rocket From the Crypt worked with two drummers on the album and a host of producers and engineers, including the legendary Jim Dickinson (Big Star, the Replacements).
