Visa issues sink The Damned's planned US trek

UK punk-rock veterans The Damned had planned to tour later this month with Canadian rockers Danko Jones, but the outing has been called off because The Damned's US Visas haven't been approved, according to The Damned's website.

Their debut effort, "Damned Damned Damned," featured the groundbreaking single "New Rose," and preceded the Sex Pistols' "Anarchy in the U.K." by several months.
