English rock act the Doves, recently nominated for the UK’s prestigious Mercury Prize for the second year running, will return to the U.S. and Canada this fall for its second North American tour of 2002.

U.K.'s Doves set month-long tour of North America

After a short U.S. jaunt earlier this year, the Doves are returning for an extensive month-long tour that begins on June 10 in Seattle. The English band’s tour plans include two nights at New York’s Irving Plaza, as well as stops in Los Angeles, St. Louis, Boston, Detroit and Chicago.
